The New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) in collaboration with the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) had organized a Vehicle Safety Course on 6th August 2019. Welcoming remarks was given by the Dean of TGGS, Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul. We also received an honors from Mr. Nikorn Chamnong, the Chairman of the People’s Safety Foundation, MP and Director of Chartpattana Party to deliver opening speech.
The course was focused on motorcyclist safety and was divided into sections, the lecture and the demonstration sessions. The demonstration comprised combined brake system (CBS), anti-lock braking system (ABS), the effectiveness of blind spot visualization and rear-view mirror technology. The course received close to 100 participants comprising medical officers, research/Government officers, media, academicians, automobile suppliers and many others
